I have nothing against Venus. Her beauty indeed stand out, not to mention, I nearly thought that there is a racial discrimination because I thought there will be no Asian who can make it to top 15... but she made it. We were all thrilled as she was called for the final question and answer. We were even more excited to hear the question raised to her. It is because her question is something different from the rest. The questions raised to other contestants are practical questions that require stereotype answers. As for the question for Venus, it is a question that will allow her to show the Filipino's courage and strong will. I felt dismayed with her answer. She does not only miss to answer the question, she sounds over confident as if she is perfect because she sounds like she had never done anything wrong. Anyway, I am still glad she made it to the top 5...

I agree... probably it is the excitement, nervousness and other factors that affected her answer. However, I think the difficulty in expressing herself in English may have contributed to her answer. I discussed about opting on having an interpreter in this link: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2384922.aspx
