Even I get dreams of same kind, my dreams are always voilent, nothing has to do withe people who know me , ie friends relatives etc, When I usually go to sleep, I get following typical dreams, 1. Someone is trying to cut my body into two in the saw machine. 2. Someone hits me with a big hammer on my head and then in my back, 3. I have been thrown from top of the building and Ifell on the fense made up o iron rods and those are pierced from my chest portion to back. and one dream i dislike the most, that I am runninig and running and runnning in the desert at night time and this dream I am seeing since childhood. As a remidy I exert myself to an extent so that I sleep very quickly and the other is to ignore such dreams so that these dreams are not in a position to influence my mind. I am trying to find and it has been very long time I am trying to find, whats wrong with me or my dreams. The above dreams are very typical and appear very now and then. 98% of my total dreams are one the above. Please HELP if somebody can.

Yeah, I have some nightmares too and I´m under anxiety / depression treatment too. My therapist says it is normal, the medicine do to our brain something like a scan disk ou defrag on a computer: rearrange some real things you´ve experienced, and some other things are kinda surreal, but it has some meaning if you think about it (with a professional is easier to understand your dreams lol). I have nightmares about teeth all the time, I´ve lost my teeth so many times in crazy ways in my dreams, but all those nightmares were related with my process of mourning and grief... So, don´t worry, I don´t like to have bad dreams but is like a healing to your brain =) It is important that you tell about those dreams with your therapist, ok?
