Hostage Crisis = Philippines is not a safe place for people to go to???

Once again the Philippines had caught the attention of the world because of the last hostage crisis that took place last monday. An ex policeman hostage chinese tourists that resulted in lost of lives. Because of the deadly hostage crisis,the country's status is a no-go zone for many foreigners. This will clearly have a tremendous impact on the Philippines's tourism industry and the country's ability to attract foreign investment. In behalf of the Filipinos, I would like to apologize to the world for what happened last monday. We Filipinos are not the same and I can still proudly say, that we are nice people and a very hospitable one. The Philippines is still a safe place to stay. Please don't misjudge us.
