I'm starting to fall for this kind of life

As I enter the coffee house, sipping a cup of iced cold coffee. I asked myself, if I can be out here drinking in the middle of the night, instead of sleeping soundly on my comfortable bed, should I try to get a night job instead? Rather then spending money, sacrificing my sleep, isn't better to be earning money? I have seen delivery man preparing for work, a handful of people riding their bicycles down the empty streets. I start to if I can be like them, being so committed over a long period of time of even just 1 month? Imagine working Monday to Friday, from 9am - 6pm, which is a luxury to many. But how about throwing in a wee hour job at 5am-7am, how many of us are willing to take it? I think might want it though, because the city at night is just so beautiful and quiet. Making it worth losing a little sleep over it.

I get what you're saying. Very well put and I agree. You stay awake as long as you can because when you get older the more sleep you'll be having and be needing. I love the city as well and yes it has a very distinct calm to it. "Worth losing a little sleep over it." +!!

Ah I get you. The noisy clubs are part of the charm of the city! The city would be boring if any element of it were taken out I think. Drunk vagrants, cheap alley restaurants... I try to appreciate the beauty of everything. But I do get your affinity for the quiet city I experience both on and off consistently. I love watching it all from tall buildings though that is the best for me.

For some, being glamarous is part of night life, in order to stand out in the silence of the night. Without those drunkards etc, there won't be excitment and happenings around.

I agree that the quiet, the beautiful sight with the lights on beckon. But I can't afford with my present work. If I don't have enough sleep, my moods can be easily spoiled. Would be lovely once in a while during a weekend.

More than often, it's our day work that takes away the night life from us. In a way it's good too, so that we will appreciate the night life more and not take it for granted.

No wonder that explains the awesome sum of numbers within the brackets! Nights jobs are fine and they do pay better than day jobs right?
