Rocking In the 80's- Who Was Your Favorite band?

I was an 80's lady. There were so many good bands out then and I was wondering who would everyone chose as their favorite. I know it's going to be hard to narrow it down, considering Motley Crew, Poision, Cinderella, etc but I would have to say Kiss was my top. I'm still a huge Kiss fan and probably always will be. Do you still enjoy the music of your favorite 80's band or have you moved on? This should be a fun discussion and hope it brings back some good memories for us all.

Oh man-so many good ones..How about Anthrax..I think they were late 80's
I used to love Poison and Metallica.

i hadn't bee in 80's because i wasn't born yet but i am listeng a lot of music of this period and sometimes i wonder that 80's were awsom period. so i believe one of my favorite bands of 80's are Aerosmith, Rolling stones, AC/DC, Def Lepard, Whitesnake, Motley crue

The 80's were awesome! The music, the clothes, they all went hand in hand with one another. You could tell who liked what knid of music by the type of clothes they wore. Me, I wore the short mini skirts with stockings and garter belts, big hair. I looked like I should have been in one of the rock videos. No other era has come close so far and I'm sorry you didn't get to experience it. At least the music is still here that you can enjoy!

I would have to say Alice Cooper.
I also really liked Mr. Big, Aerosmith, White Snake and Mister Mister

My hubby's fave is Aerosmith too. Although I do like some of Alice's music I never got THAT into him, not sure why.

This is too hard to pick cause I basically heard every style of music in the 80's from Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Kiss, Motely Crew, The New Kids on The Block, Ah-Ha, Billy Idol, to the pop princess Tiffany and Debbie, etc. 80's era music was the best and still is. This is hard to pick. I would go with Duran Duran as my favorite band in the 80's and Def Leppard. I still listen to their songs and still love them.
