Are WWE actually going to unify the women's titles finally?

With this entire Melina-Team LayCool thing that's being set up a bit, it sure does seem that way. Maybe we're going to see the glorious demise of the wretched and much hated(by me), Diva's Championship belt. Although the new WWE Tag Team Title belts are quite the eyesore right now, but that's another rant for another time. I've been saying for a while that WWE doesn't need two women's champions, given the depth of the Smackdown women's division(with Beth Phoenix hurt and Tiffany suspended especially). I hpe the WWE Diva's Championship Belt be thrown into the storage at Titan Towers and forgotten. Then again, that's the belt they're going to keep.

they can do away with the belt but please keep the divas even if they are just eye-candy (more so if they are eye-candy!!!lol). maybe wwe should think of bringing in lita back. melina isn't that bad when it comes to her in-ring skills. surprised that tiffany was suspended? what was her case? the wwe wellness-policy? haven't seen the new tag team belts so don't have an opinion on that yet but yeah, put all the divas in one show, preferably smackdown, and leave raw to the big boys.

Apparently there was some incident at a hotel that she got arrested for and had to spend a night in jail. So she's suspended until her legal problems are cleared up, but her days on the active roster might be numbered. At least that's what they heard. Its not been a good time for behavior for the Diva's, as Serena got fired as well. Apparently that segment that aired when she fell off the wagon and was drinking, was a bit true to life, if you catch my drift. Yeah, put them on one show or another but if that happens, I just see WWE putting their divas front and center on RAW if that happens. Thank you for your response. Also, I think that the divas really have not been at a top level ever since Lita and Trish Stratus both retired. There has really been no stars on their level. Beth Phoenix is the closest thing, but she's a fair amount under those two. Some decent matches, some entertaining moments, but really nothing more than that. Maybe WWE should bring in Awesome Kong. She'd be unique compared to all of the other divas and might actually be something different. Then again, Vince McMahon has his certain vision of what a women's wrestler in WWE should be, so I doubt that would happen.

getting lita and trish stratus back from retirement is a major upgrade for the wwe divas. beth phoenix is imposing but agree with what you said, she pales in comparison to those lita and trish. getting awesome kong in the wwe might happen but won't happen since she will stick out like a sore thumb in that roster. i really want wwe to bring the lady manager back, somewhat similar to what elizabeth was doing for macho man randy savage back in the day. trish stratus also played this role with the tag team tna and she did well so maybe that's another route that wwe can look into when dealing with the divas.
