Have you ever cried awake because your dream is too painful to bear?

Had my experience when I dreamed once when young. I was so spoiled back then that one night I dream I was forcing my mother to buy me something I really want but then she refused me because she has no money but then I end up having tantrums and forced her to really buy me that. My mom left me having tantrums because she has to do some works. Then later that night I still dreamed about forcing my mom to buy me that something. She told me in my dream that if only I was a good kid she would really buy me that but then to all my anger in my dream I slept because my mom wont listen to me anymore. But when I was woke up in my dream, I was so surprised that everything is so quite and no one is there. Later that day in my dream I keep looking for somebody but then no one was ther even the trace of my mother. I cried in my dream like never cried before. My mom never came in my dream. When I did wake up in my dream I found my self all teary eyed & my mom was all worried why I was crying in my sleep. I just hugged her & told her I was sorry for being so spoiled brat.
Did something like this ever happened to you?

yes.. i have go through before when i dreamed about my friend who drown into the river. I was crying like crazy sitting at his grave. When i was woke up from sleep, i found that my self with teary eyed and feeling sad with breathless. Although is just a dream but the passion i feel is like reality happened against me.

Yes, same thing as what I felt that time. Its like really happening in real life that my emotions drawn into tears until I woke up.

I did that a few times, but even though I cried so hard on my sleep, there was no tears at all. But I also have a funny memory with a dream. I kicked my sister in my dream, but apparently I didn't just do it in a dream, but in reality aswell. So my sister often awaken me in the middle of the night, telling me to stop kicking her or hit her(sometimes)...

Hi, joygracia. I have never had a dream like this. But what I can honestly tell you is that my bad dreams that I have had, made me cherish like more. I know that after having this dream you was able to love and embrace your mom like never before. I am happy that your mom was there to console you and to soother your sadness.

I have woken up crying before. I dreamt not too long ago that my husband and I had split up and in the dream I was sleeping on a friend’s couch and felt so scared about what was going to happen to my daughter and me. I missed my husband terribly and although he wasn’t in the dream I contemplated calling him and begging him to come back! It was a truly awful dream, I felt so lonely and afraid! Dreams represent our fears sometimes and, like in your case they can teach us valuable lessons.

I never cried awake because of my dream. I used to feel very upset when I dream about something bad happen to my family. I was very sad after awake even though I knew that just a nightmare. That was a really bad experience, but it reminds me always be thankful and grateful for what I have now.

well from what i heard what happens in your dream my happen for real because some dreams are so real that the brains think that its actually happening and also dreams can connect you to the spirit world and can give you inside tips of the past present and future so
the moral or the them of the dream was to straiten out our when you really need your mom she will not be their and neither will any one .

Yes,that dream somehow made me open my eyes to reality. It is so real like that I cried so hard my mom woke me up in amazement. At some point I was glad I dreamed of that because it made me become a better person.

yes. it was about my sister being kidnapped and was killed in my dream. i woke up with my heart beating faster and cried later on. i called her right after. my father was in it too. he was the one who told me calmly that my sister was kidnapped and killed. weird.. that was years ago..

I had an awful dream the other night where I was cheating on my boyfriend. I woke up from that dream crying, and he started hugging me and asking me what the matter was, but I couldn't tell him because I was far too embarrassed about what I'd been dreaming about.
Sometimes, the dreams that I have get so bad that I don't want to go back to sleep incase they come back. I woke up from the dream mentioned about at about 5am the other morning, and I just didn't bother going back to sleep after that because I couldn't bear the thought of having to go through any dreams like that again.
