Can india lift the Tri-series Title in Srilanka

India beat Kiwi's to and march to finals, This is a great sigh of relief for Dhoni and his Gentleman,who are already in lot of controversy. Just a day back there were lot of allegation against the inablity of these big guns. Today Virender Sehwag with his charismatic 110 and Praveen kumar with 3 wickets haul have proved the critiques wrong. I think the team had all the talent and ability, it was only the matter of execution. Now that the battle of semifinals have been won, the million dollars question is, "Can India tackle the last hurdle, where entire Lankans would be their foe??
I think they will as the perseverance and patience has virtue and virtue has grace!!

Given India's up and down performance in this tournament anything is possible. It seems that if batsmen apply themselves they can score the runs, but the pitches seem to be in favor of the bowlers with its swing and spongy bounce. If it swings I think India will be the favorites, but if India has to win Sehwag will again be the key.

Hey buddy!! Thanks for your reply, I agree to you to an extent, The swing is necessary, but i think the occasion like this comes hard by. This is the time for others to stand and take responsibility. Sehwag has done his job. Cricket has always been the game of uncertainties but I am sure that Indian Cricket Team will take the challenge and come out Winner. BEST OF LUCK FOR INDIA

it will not be a easy task.
because now indian batting is not that good, only viru is playing well.
so some one else should take the responsibility.
and in bowling i dont know whether india will be able to produce the bowling performance they showed in last match.
if they took it out, then win will be with indians.

Completely justified inputs venkit. Yet I think the wind of change was the Semifinal match against Kiwi's, Where they did come up well. Though viru is in excellent form but his vulnerability can't be ignored, however i strongly think it will be a nail biting match, hoping for the Indian team to win.

Its very difficult for INDIA to lift the micromax cup as this team looks very much inexperience in the batting line up. Bowlers are good . Sewahg and Dhoni are the only reliable and Yuvraj is out of form. Raina , Virat and rohith need to pull their Socks. Dinesh is a waste at top order.

india has a great chance to lift the cup. they already beat srilanka in this series and after the victory against newzealand the indian team will be confident to beat lanka...

There is no doubt that we can win this series, however, there are a few things that should be taken care of. Indian batting has not been up to the mark in this series, most of the batsman have failed to perform, including captain dhoni. Apart from batting, the bowling is as always not so great.
The result the fast bowlers got in the last match was because of the conditions, they did not do anything special. If New Zealand would have batted first, I am sure, the result would have been just opposite. If anyone still feels that the Indian bowling was even good, please answer why Mills could score 50+ runs?
India will have to be very precise in handing the two main, in form, Sri Lankan players, "Dharmasena" and "Jadeja" (Yes, though he plays from Indian side but he score runs for opposition).
Check the history, Jadeja has always been most economical while batting and he scores all the runs while bowling.
"Dharmasena" no need to write anything about him. He is spoiling the game of cricket.
Sehwag is playing well, let us hope that Dhoni and Yuvraj also play well in finals so that we can easily win the series!
