HI! everyone, i want to be back for good again. i just want to share my own opinion of the hostages incident. it's so sad.it made me cry watching tv the whole time that day,i really feel sorry for all the victims.in my own opinion, it was a situation that for me is so easy to solve, why? because the hostage taker give demands, request. and willingness to surrender if all his demands are given, for me it's simple as 1 2 3. you know.the victims are visitors, they are here for luxury. lives of people, innocent people, there's no need to bargain, those lives,if i were the authority, i will give his demands,it's only a demands compare to the lives of many, it's only a case of one person ,there's no need to take the risk for lives of those victims, because there is no doubt that the hostage taker could possibly kill people because he is a police and armed.for me. give his demands, then review his case, then if ever he is really guilty then convict him again at the end. what matters most is all victims will be save.

Hi Sincerelyne, it is true that what matters most is the lives of victims. It would even be great if meeting a hostage takers demands are met and a life saved. After all, one cannot place a monetary value not even on one life. But the problem is what happens when these hostage takers run out of the money, or if they are terrorist and there demands are met? How many more lives will they place in danger? How many more people will resort to taking hostages everytime they need money or want something done? My heart goes out to the families of the victims in this latest episode in the war on terror. There only consolation is that the perpetrator will never to it again. Not enough I know, but is there really a better solution?

When one resorts to terror to solve one's problems one becomes a terrorist. It is the definition.

At first the hijacker was peaceful and he wanted to threat the government because he thought the judgment to fire him was wrong. He didn't mean to kill anybody at that time. He asked for the media and therefore nobody could hide this case. However, the government finally rejected his request and even sent him a letter formally. He was annoyed. It is not enough, they even caught his brother and wife. And finally everything was out of control. I think according to all of the unreasonable solutions to this case, there must be some dirty truths and therefore this hijacker must die. Otherwise he would reveal many truths and it would affect many officers.
