jealous on a CUTE photo of my boyfriend and my close friend (insecure??)

We once had a photoshoot last weekend in a beach resort. My bf and I had taken pictures together. Suddenly, my girl friend wants to have a picture with my boyfriend and I agree because they really look like models. My other friend took it. Actually all of us don't feel any malice on them. They're not so close either. Until such time, when the whole album was posted in facebook, that picture of them caught my bf's friends' attention. One commented, "What a cute couple. She's your gf right?" and my bf responded, "No, she's just a friend of mine. My girlfriend is in the next album." My close friend laughs as she reacted and there were gaps of silence after I realized that when they're together, they look really better than we (bf & I) do. A single feeling grows and becomes a jealousy... then an insecurity. They look better because they're both tall and slim; while my bf and I never look good (I just realized that after seeing their pic) because I'm fat and not so tall. Honestly, I feel insecure!!! gosh, until now, I can't remove their picture on my mind. And every time i think of it, I feel like hating both of them. My bf and I talked about it and he said, "There's nothing to be insecure about. Yes, she's tall and slim and beautiful but you're even more beautiful, inside and out. You may not be gifted with height and sexy body but you outshine everyone because of your wonderful personality. I just love you the way you are."

Wow, if your BF really said that ... he was really thinking well on what your relationship means to him ... you shine in his eyes like the stars ... hope you guys continue to inspire each other. Perhaps a partnership is more full when it fits like a puzzle where no two pieces are so alike diba? Eric

I so love that last line you wrote! And yes, I even more realized he's into me. He may not be showy but those words he said really made a spark. :)

Astig ... one tongue in cheek suggestion ... put the cameras away for one excursion so as not to present another opportunity OR take hundreds, no thousands of photos! ;) Eric
