Good News... And Hopefully... So Thank You myLot

This really sounds a very very good news. Not only for us, the parents of the 3 year old boy who has Sleep Apnea all his life, but also to everyone here on myLot who loves this boy. So I want everyone here, especially the admin to be the first to get this good news.
I have a conversation today with a program researcher (PR) of a TV station based in Manila. She said, they are interested in the case of my son. I am not quite sure if they will be going to feature our story, my son's health history or something on their program, but as our conversation went on, we are probably be flying to Manila very very soon.
It is not still clear to us if their program will shoulder everything, every expenses. But the PR told me, they already have communications with St. Luke's Hospital.
So, let's cross our fingers. Hopefully, this is the fruit of our labor, the answer to all our prayers.

It's probably not easy but am glad that media has gotten know you for sure. and the condition of your kid. i hope that things would be well for your child once his sickness had been known to the public.

i know this health condition is slowly getting popular, but it is not that kind of illness that people will take serious action at the first time they hear it. some even had a big laugh at the first time they seen the video of my son.

I do hope everything will turn out the way you're expecting it to be. I'm wishing your son and family well. I know how you have been feeling all this time. I also have a son (just three weeks old) who has an illness that makes me and my family worry so much. Until now we are still waiting for the result of his repeat newborn screening. Let's just remain optimistic for our children. Take care always!!!

yes my friend, i am so excited about this. you know, since the doctor recommended the surgery, i never stop looking for help so we can raise the money to pay for the hospital bills and the doctors. if you may just want to know, the surgeon estimated about 3K dollars for the surgery. there are people sending their support, prayers, etc. but they are still not enough to even pay for the deposit in the hospital, for initial payment before we can be scheduled for the operation. so i am really so happy to receive their call informing us of their interest to help us.
about your daughter, why is it that she was only diagnosed at that age? does she snore? is she overweight?

She has snored since she was in her early teens, but she has only recently gone to the doctors - she is overweight but the doctor thinks that this is because of the sleep apnea as she is so tired her body is craving energy.
She is not having surgery but is having a mask made that she has to wear when she is asleep.

so she only got apnea when she was a teen? what had the doctors found out? i mean, what had cause her to stop breathing? did they found something in her throat, like enlarged tonsils or adenoids? i know about the machine, it's called a cpap. we noticed our son started to snore when he was still a baby and only last month that the doctors confirmed he really have sleep apnea.

It is supposed to attack the intestinal tract in Haile it attacked her brain and she had back to back surgery at 6 weeks at Shands Hospital in Gainsville Fl,
But she enjoyed life to the very minute she passed and her Granmama was always around

actually, i have no idea how it actually happened. i am active on other sites and mylot is just one place where i talk too much about my son. i have a blogsite and i have also a lot of posts on facebook. but anyway, thanks to the technology, for mylot and everyone that prays for my son to make this happen.

Wow bro it's really really a good news to all who knows about what zayzay experiencing lately. I know many kind hearted people wants to help him, the prayer from all of your friends is a great help. Your patience and being positive although sometimes you felt down but still you pursue all your best plan to find people that might help zayzay for his operation.
