okay, since this is recently the worldwide hot topic - the Hostage Drama in the Philippines... (weeee~ another drama ¬_¬) i would like to ask whose fault is it? there have been three people/group that have been pinpointed as the reason as to why the crisis has escalated to that level: 1. the hostage taker - he panicked when he saw on tv that his family were involved and started shooting. 2. the SWAT team/police force - they didn't have a proper plan. they don't even have a sniper ready. they got the family members involved and somehow hurt them(?) 3. the media - yeah, they have the right to make a coverage but they COVERED too much already, they should've left some events un-aired so as not to panic anyone. there was also the bus driver who escaped and yelled 'everyone's dead' when in fact no one was... well i don't know. but in my opinion i'd say media (i think they covered too much of it, if they didn't the hostage taker wouldn't panic it could've ended well) and the police force (they were not as efficient as they were before as said by the former SWAT head)

I think it would bias to pinpoint who's fault was is that happened during the hostage drama! It was a horrible thing and we cant be happy with is of course so no need to say the "weeeee" part like cheering. There was some loopholes in what happened at that time. I know that there so many stupid decisions made at that time. The so called SWAT, was I dont know, I think they didnt know why they were there. I hope that what happened there will serve as a wake up call for the Philippine Police to be more efficient and improve on the trainings that they have so that they will be able to handle a situation like this if ever it will happen in the future.
