Intel mother board is better suited for pentium 4 processor.
why you go for pentium 4.
we have many latest processors which are very fast that pentium 4.
Intel core2duo is the latest.
try it.

May be due to heavy load on processor or bad power supply or even high humidity or moisture can damage the motherboard very easily.

If your Pentium 4 is a Socket 423 or Socket 478, then its hard to find a good company motherboard for it. Only some chinese company make motherboard for that chip.
But of your Pentium 4 is a Socket LGA 775, then it can be supported by most of the Intel motherboards of LGA 775 series.
So, how to recognize in which series your processor lies. Well its clearly written on the processor.
Or an Easy trick.
If your processor has pins, then its a Socket 423/478 processor.
If its flat chip, then its Socket LGA 775 series.

All the latest motherboards are compatible with pentium 4 processors and its obvious as its been a long time that pentium 4 processors are launched......
