Be smart with your money?

I know someone that makes about twenty dollars a month. They have a boyfriend and their roommate helps with the bills. She on occasion complains that she has had to eat oodles n noodles or feed her child oodles n noodles. The only reason this gets on my nerves is the amount of money that she makes and how she lives. If she was really struggling then I would be more supportive but I try to just let it in one ear and out the other. I don't understand it because this person has been through hard times before. If she was someone who always had money then I could say that she just hasn't learned yet. It worries me because it makes me think that she will never learn how to be smart with her money.
She has gotten better with her money ever since she had a baby. I'm glad that she is spending her money more responsibly but I still on occasion hear her complain about money. Out of anybody that she knows I don't want to hear about her complain about her money.
I'm not saying that she is rich or a millionaire but she is doing well off. When I am struggling to pay bills and she lives in a better place than me and lives better than me it just doesn't make sense to me and aggravates me.
Why do people that have money complain about money to people worse off?

I am a little confused…If your friend makes around twenty dollars a month she cannot possibly be very well off! Are we talking US dollars or another currency? There are people who have the habit of complaining even though they are better off than a lot of people and they know it! It sounds to me like it is just a bad and annoying habit your friend has! There are those who used to struggle with money and had to be very frugal and when life changes for them and their lifestyle improves they cannot break away from the idea that they don’t have much.
