What's your favorite "bad" action movie?

Everybody with an interest in movies can note a guilty pleasure. But the real cream of the crop always seems to be in the action movie category, especially films made in the 80's. Musical montages, over the top facial expressions, & spontaneous catchy one liners after a death are common staples("Stick Around", "Let off a little steam", only a few of Arnold's). The sad thing is these were never made for cheese value, they were legitimate action films for their time & views have since changed drastically on what is & isn't considered cheesy(IE: Protagonists running around in brightly colored short shorts). The 90's & 00's had their fare share as well: "Batman & Robin", "Street Fighter", "Street Fighter : The Legend of Chun-Li", "Shoot 'Em Up"(Intentionally bad..had to be!), etc. Before I start rambling some more, what's your favorite bad action movie from any period? (Or movies, too many to choose from!) Mine is a little obscure, "Over The Top" from 1987. Stallone hit it big with his portrayals in the Rambo & Rocky movies, though both franchises went from genuinely good films to standard 80's cheese after their sequels came about. But then he starred as Hawk Nelson, an arm wrestling truck driver with an estranged son that must rebuild his bond with the son he never knew while competing in an arm wrestling competition where every other competitor is a truck driver..? He even works out while driving the long hauls with a stack of cinder blocks tied to a pulley that he only lifts with his right arm, never his left. Lame movie no doubt, but it's too obscure on many levels not to love. Honorable Mentions: "Commando" : Yes it has Arnold in a high speed chase with a sports car that seems to show damage but then repair itself miraculously as well as a right hand man to the main baddy that looks like a roided out Freddy Mercury wearing a chain-mail tank top. "Bloodsport" : Van Damme's best! Bottom bricks exploding, dancing around the streets while being chased by the feds, ball punching : CLASSIC. "Rocky IV" : No reason it wouldn't be on one of these lists. No reason to explain. "Maximum Overdrive" : AC-DC supplies the soundtrack, it stars Emilio Estevez, & a soda machine kills little leaguers...enough said.

I really enjoyed watching the Expendables and A-Team. In A-Team, the most thrilling part was when they were making a military tank fly. That was really awesome. I also enjoyed watching the Expendables because action legends were gathered there. I am really not a fan of action movies but I really enjoyed these movies a lot.

Oh I love Over the Top I thought it was really cool or maybe i was just too young when I watched it. The most recent one I like is TAKEN starring Liam Neeson, the critics hated this film but movie goers loved it. Its great that stars in their late 50's?? can still kick some butt.
