Important news to all Kooday members and those planning on becoming one. In one week time Mark Huhtela, Kooday's spokesman and co-founder has answered questions and released news twice about Kooday in two online conference calls. Here's a summary and a small transcription that clarifies why Kooday switches from PayPal to Alertpay. But there's more. Transcription. Conference Call Two Mark Huhtela. Transcribed by me. "We are giving notice that we will be changing our payment processor from PayPal to AlertPay. Paypal has just notified us that it is not prepared to be liable for the huge dollar volume Kooday is demonstrating because we are such a new business an original and unproven concept. It came as a surprise to us because easier we were under a different impression and thought that it was only their collateral agreement that would be negotiated as required. And we met the collateral agreement by the way. Once we are ready to switch over to our new payment processing to Alert Pay, we will not be accepting PayPal as a payment option any further at that point. It shouldn't take any longer than 30 days but we feel that we wil be able to switch as early as next week.. Now you can currently participate with PayPal until we do the switch." Then Huhtela went on to say that PayPal will be working with them for another 6 months but after that it will be really over for PayPal. There are a few ways to go now: - Cancel - File a dispute with PayPal resulting in an account buyout. All keywords will be transfered the Kooday house account. - Continue. Wait to see how Kooday develops. - Refund. Can be done until 6 months. - Send equivalent from paypal to alertpay to get active before request payout ( Honestly that was pretty vague by Mark...) Advantage: Shortening of request due to security measures by Alert Pay. Mark then went on to tell us about the 'snapshot' bonus. The most promising of news. Snapshot bonus is a reward of credits. ( Profit share, gold and diamond creds) The snapshot bonus will be released before the 22th of October. This bonus isn't paid out immediately but spread over an unmentioned period. - 1 dollar per profit share credit. 50k maximum. (Info: k= times 1000) - 100 dollars per gold credit. 500k maximum. (+ money from PSC) - Diamond more than 5000 dollars in keywords = 5 million dollars. Otherwise, and I am not sure of this 1 million. Always plus the gold credits so maximum is 5.5 million US dollars. Last but not least Mark Huhtela gave us a quick view on advertising. Advertising tool: This tool scans a website for words and shows the webmaster what keywords are related he can then select which keywords he'd like to advertise on and what geographical area. Minimum bid is 15% maximum bid is 15 dollars. When somebody meets or exceeds the current highest paid linking price, he will become number one. The other company will then have to match or exceed that amount again to become number one again... and so on and so on. Share your emotions and thoughts about this...

Well well, now I do not have to back and re-read the info as you have spelled it about clearly here. Thanks friend. As for the change it sounds understandable only I believe it is more than the amount part that I believe is going on here. Seriously PayPal not want to invest in something big...hmmmm Perhaps PayPal thinks this is still unsafe as the transacations are quite high in the beta phase, as soon as it launches perhaps they do not feel sustainable. Seriously take toneaday, thousands and thousands signed up and pay-out were instant so why are they still on PayPal and it is a brand new company also. We will just have to monitor kooday as closely as we would other sites I suppose. Good thing I have a friend call diamania who is all over this. Anyways I have alertpay already from another site, so for me I feel that this would be okay as I would like to keep this site separate anyways.

I think Paypal's right to be cautious. If I try to be cautious when checking out new sites, why shouldn't businesses be?

PayPal ( Sometimes also referred to as GayPal, for obvious reasons) has always been very cautious with companies like Kooday. For a reason unknown to me and incomprehensible to a lot of people, unusual transactions are wrongly approached by PayPal, they do not investigate such things. It does not enter their minds that websites might go viral or that webmasters tap into new markets every day with quickly accumulated funds as a result. Appparently PayPal does not have a lot of trust in their members all to their damage since Kooday might turn out to be a billions business, what's better than earning several percentages of a few billion? I have no clue... I wish good luck to alert pay for handling the huge transactions. :)

Others can purchase them back. Profit per bid 15%. Min investment 5 bucks. Money to invest amounts to 4 bucks due to fees. 3. Profit share credits: received at every purchase. 4. 3. You get a certain amount per week per credit. Then there are also gold credits and diamond credits. But once again read the FAQ.
