Amir has been exceptional on the 2nd of the 4th test between Pakistan and England. This is a great chance for Pakistan to level the series.

Yes, Aamer bowled an inspired spell in the morning and immediately after tea. He took 6 wickets to leave England tottering. But then centuries by Trott and Broad meant that England has come back strongly. In fact now they have the upper hand in the game. It is going to be very difficult for Pakistan to go on from here to win the match. Cheers! Ram

Keeping in mind Pakistan's batting woes, it is really a bit difficult for them to level the series. If they can get a slight lead in the first innings, they might have chances.

Just wanted to respond friend and say I do not have anything outside of what the other fellow members inputted. Just read all responses and feel even more educated as I would not have had further to input. Thanks for the discussion.

What a find Aamir is for Pakistan. He is young, just 19, energetic and he has got great line length and cool head.. He ripped through the England middle order taking four wickets in space of eight deliveries without conceding a single run. Moreover he took Engaland' no. 4, 5 and 6 for duck, which has occured only the fifth time in the history of world cricket and first time for England that these three positions have got out without scoring... Hats off to Aamir for a brillant spell. He is a gem for Pakistan, who is among the deadly crisis. Lets hope we see more of Aamir and he may end up as a new Wasim Akram for Pakistan and for the whole cricketing world :)

Yes, Amir is a great find for Pakistan. Both Amir and Asif are no doubt world-class bowlers and they can be deadly on their day. If Pakistan can take the remaining 3 wickets early and score a reasonable total in their first innings, the test looks interesting.

England really has been battered by Pakistand bowlers...Mohd. Aamir in particular...what a bowler he is for Pak...what a find...he is being compared to Wasim Akram..the great..English batsme looked miserable and clueless against his bowling..3 batsmen out for duck and almost in succession...wow...e really bowled beautifully...giving the Pakistan team an upper hand in this test match..

Thanks for the response. Amir has really bowled well and there is no reason why he can't be compared to Akram. He is simply awesome. Pakistan had an upper hand when England were 102/7, but allowed them to score 346/7. It'll be interesting to see how this test goes on.
