I think Pro-Air inhalers give me colds..What does your inhaler do to you?

Like many asthmatics, I miss my CFC inhalers. They worked fast, they worked long, and they were quite inexpensive. Then in 2008, we were forced to switch to the HFA inhalers. I've used many types, but the one I detest the most is Pro-Air inhaler. Not only is it more expensive, but it's not as effective as the CFC inhalers. I know how to breathe it in, and just like others have stated, it takes a half hour, to sometimes longer for it to work appropriately. On top of that, every time I use one, I catch a cold. And it doesn't matter if I just recently got a new prescription, or need to borrow someone's in an emergency. For a while I was using Combivent, which works five times better than Pro-Air. Not one irritation or other discomfort in my chest, surrounded my lungs. I ran out, and had to switch back to my previous inhaler, Pro-Air last night. And now today, my lungs hurt and it's a bit hard to breath outward. I know I'm catching a cold, and I'm pretty sure the inhaler Pro-Air is the cause of it. This is how I caught a cold the last several times, with every Pro-Air inhaler. I've tried to tell my doctor, even wrote a letter of complaint to the FDA, to no avail. And right now, I have no choice but to use this blasted Pro-Air inhaler until I can get some money for a different inhaler. But at any rate, has anyone else noticed this problem with Pro-Air? Do you experience unpleasant side effects with an HFA inhaler?

That's quite beneficial then.
