A woman was riding a bus on her way home...she was seated in at the back where she could see everyone...A catholic woman was seated to her right, who was holding a rosary and was praying a little loud...To her left was a teen age boy all rugged and looked like a drug addict...In the middle of the trip, the bus got into an accident and almost everyone in got hurt...The old religious woman who incurred small bruises, started cursing and screaming at the driver saying he'll rot in hell for not being careful and putting her life in danger and that the heavens will punish the driver for her pain...the teen age kids head had a bump and was bleeding but kept silent and helped as much person as he could neglecting the pain he felt in his head...

Prayer, novenas, going to mass, etc. those alone will not guarantee you a free trip to heaven. You have to live and act your faith and what you believe in! Those things are not wrong either. We need prayers and going to mass to keep our lines open with God. We need to be connected with Him. It is only through prayers that we can talk to God. Also one must act his/her faith.

I agree...Living the faith is more important than knowing the faith...^_^

From your post I deduce that not everyone who appears prayerful is spiritually healthy. In fact they are spiritually sick therefore they need religion. The teen age kid was more spiritual than the lady who was holding a rosary and praying aloud.

The griping woman may have claimed to be a Christian, but it was in name only. Jesus might have been her Savior, but He certainly wasn't her Lord. If He had been, she would have behaved like the rough looking teenage boy.
