How would feel if your child behaves exactly the way you do?

Will it make you happy or sad? Will it remind you of good memories or horrible ones? Will you wish your child should continue along that line?

In a certain sense I think of it as a compliment if my children behave the same way that I do because of the saying that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. However, it is also something that is quite difficult to deal with because of the fact that having someone that acts exactly the same as you do does have a tendency to cause conflict as you tend to butt heads with each other from time to time. So, it really is about 50 percent that I'd be happy and 50 percent that I'd be frustrated.

Not exactly behave the way i do,but my daughter loves everything that i love.
She has the passion about arts that i failed to do when i was young.
So,i am very much happy about this.
She plays various musical instruments like guitar, flute, piano and sax.
She knows how to sketch and draw some faces as i do.
I been supporting her all the time,i don't want her to be frustrated like me.
My parents did not support me for my passion before and it's the greatest failure in my life.
Now,i am happy that my daughter will continue my passion.

If my child were to behave the same way that I did when I was younger, I would feel frustrated if they didn't listen to me when I tried to make them change their ways.
I made a lot of mistakes in my past, and I would hate to have to watch my children make the same mistakes that I did- but people say that you have to let your children make mistakes otherwise they won't be able to learn what's right and wrong.
