I have been suffering from chronic heartburn for almost 5 years and it is horrible. I have tried practically everything and it still hurts day and night. I'm actually surprised I'm still alive. Many, many times, the pain was so intense I thought that I wouldn't make it through the night. I've had to drastically alter what I ate and how I sleep. I sleep on a bed but with the pillows propped up to a sitting position. I'm still hoping for a miracle! I hope his situation is not as serious as mine and that he finds a way to deal with it before it reaches a point of no return.

You should consult medical attention if your heartburn is causing problem in your everyday life. Heartburn is a serious case, it can affect you esophageal lining, as we all know that esophagus is where the food passes before it will enter the stomach. Irritation in the esophagus can cause inflammation and edema so chronically sometimes you will have difficulty swallowing and eating.

Thanks for your concern! I've gone to many doctors and many hospitals and tried many medications, herbs and concoctions but unfortunately I was not helped. When the doctors told me they could not do anymore for me I had to take things into my own hands. Because of the drastic change in the way I eat and the adjustment in the way I sleep I am still here. Maybe I will beat it and maybe I won't. I have fought a hard fight. Time will tell what the future has in store.

I have no idea if this is going to help your friend but I know that some have been helped by a special Aloe Vera drink from www.gnld.com combined with Calcium and Magnesium.
But as we are individuals, there are so many factors that can cause problems. Something that helps for one person may not help for another one.
I do hope that someone finds a solution soon.

Hi, Sakura
I have not this problem myself, but as I like to help others, if I can, I am open for information about what has helped them.
I am a distributor in gnld.com network, so I buy the products, Aloe Vera and CalMag and many others from myself..
I have also a lot of people I can contact that have found a solution for their health problems and they can tell their stories. If you went to the gnld.com site, you maybe noticed the Scientific Advisory Board that works together with Stanford University and a worldwide network of scientists.
We just got a new product called Tre, and it has taken many years to do the research and tests on it and now it is available even for us in Northern Europe.
I don´t know if it helps for heartburn problems, but now I have the possibility to learn from my own and other people´s experience when we start using it here.

I have no idea what is going on with your friend and I think it is nice of you to help him but he has to personally go and see a doctor. I am not calling YOU stupid but if you went to go and get it yourself, what if the doctor gave you the wrong medication. I do not think you can speak on behalf of people anyways. I think!
But yeah anyways, your friend has to go get checked out so all the best Linda.
