Didn't we just watch it a year ago in movie theater? Isn't it already come out in DVD and Blu - Ray disc? So, why is it coming to the movie theater the second time again? It said it will be a special edition. I just don't know how special it gonna be. Basically, it is the same movie. Would you go watch it again in the theater? I might not. Because the money is already spent on DVD and theater.

Absolutely. No television screen can give copy the beauty of the big movie screen. I've seen it several times and the special effects are so breathtaking, I really don't care what the storyline is. I always see something I didn't notice before.

I think they will be showing deleted scenes and the like. Other wise i think it will be practically the same with the movie. Though you might find some games or behind the scenes!

I honestly haven't seen avatar .yet. I know that its the highest grossing film of all time and people I know do blab about how good it is all the time. Even though I think the most special thing about it is the $2,500,000,000 (Two and a half billion dollars) of gross alone, that it broke box office and even the Guinness records perhaps.. what's really amazing of the movie basing on the trailers I've seen is its amazing high-tech effects. It's just top notch. The film producers would certainly rack up hundreds of millions again. So what in the world would it make it NOT special? .. None. :) Have a nice day.

I believed they have added a new character and twist in the movie that's why they are showing it again in the theaters. It was such a big request by many and a lot wanted to watch in in 3D so I guess that was the main reason why they are showing it again in the cinemas.

It's getting a re-release this early because it's such a big hit. Personally, I wasn't that fond of it the first time around so I won't be going to go see it again... and I won't be buying any DVDs! There are loads of other new movies in theaters that I will want to go see, so I won't be missing out on anything.

I might not watch it again, since I already seen that movie both in theater and DVD. I just know the whole story, and it might not worth it to me though.

I missed it in the theaters & have only seen it on DVD. I'd like to go see it in the theater now just for the 3d effects.

What is special is that there will be additional footage, either 8 minutes or 10 minutes. Extra footage includes a longer opening with the journey from earth to expand upon that story amongst other things Is it really worth it, well I don't think so but then I didn't see what all the fuss was about Avatar in the first place. Of course it's commercialism working at it's best, there will be those who are so entranced by the whole Avatar nonsense that they will go again just to see those few extra minutes. And of course there will be some who go not realising that the additional footage is actually quite small and will probably feel robbed once they realise that they've just forked out on infalted tickets for an extra few minutes.

I missed it at the theater and watched the dvd at home. I would like to see it on the big screen so we might go. Perhaps that's what they are thinking.

Wow you actually still buy DVDs. Anyway, I didn't see AVATAR on theater, just the DVD release, so I might watch it and experience it on 3d.
