What life actually mean to you??

Life to me is a chance to understand myself as a human being. There are many forms of life in this world right from small bacteria, fungus to organisms like whale or elephants. Numerous species of plants and animals co-exist. We are also a form of life. But now comes the remarkable well known difference. We have comparatively much larger brain and we can think. But don't we all forget this big difference between us and those animal or plants and start living life just revolving around say eating, sleeping, running helter skelter for money, reproduction etc. Can't we as a human should think much beyond just doing things which makes us just equivalent to animals??

Life to me is just taking it as it comes, the best way possible. Keeping yourself happy. I mean most people would try to be succesful first to get to that position, so we all go throught the phases.

Hey Joelp10, well dear its good you should be positive and happy to wade through the ups and downs of the life. But dear there should be a good purpose of life.don't you agree? further one should see that his or her happiness should not be at the cost of someone's loss. I agree with you that everyone try to reach a level of happiness, its just the way you choose to be happy. some are happy to help. pardon, if I am not exaggerated. some just don't be happy because others are happy. you see there are variety of peoples out there in the world. What I feel should at least have something really ulterior to be happy. As I just read the comment in my discussion by gemma R that he/she likes to help with knowledge of psychology. don't you agree? I would like to hear from you.

Life means, to me, helping people. I am doing a degree in psychology at the moment, and after that I hope that I will be able to go into a research job to do research in the area of mental health. If the research that I undertake even helps one person, then my 15 years in education will have been worth doing, without a doubt.

hey gemmaR I really appreciate your resolve to help people with your knowledge. I really love this subject of psychology. I have also studied psychology a bit.But due to job pressure i had to drop that in between. But I would love to complete my post graduation degree if I get time for that. Anyway I think that this is something really challenging when thought in a practical scenario. Isn't it? just imagine yourself dealing with a psycho killer or so. thrilling indeed. I would like to add you as my friend. how can I do that?
