I was helping meommy!

Meommy was doing something, cleaning she said, but I didn't see much cleaning actually going on - lots of stuff getting moved around and packed, but not much cleaning...
Anyway, she has this bookshelf that has these things she calls "talking books" on. Now, I don't understand why these are more important than kitty beds, but there we are, three perrfectly lovely shelves we can't sleep on!
Well, Auntie Bibi got a box and it was a nice box, but before she let ANY of us get in it, she handed it off to meommy and while a few cats got a few jumps into the box, they got chased straight away out and meommy put these talking book things into it.
She cleared off 2 of the 3 shelves with that box.
NICE!
Well, then she called for Auntie to bring something, snape, cape, tape, something like that. She was holding the box closed and when Auntie couldn't find this magic stuff she told her to come hold the box closed.
Well, that sounded like she needed some help! So, I ran in and helped hold the box closed. I love to help meommy!
You see, those bad cats, not me, of course, I'm perrfect, but some of them are bad kitties and they have done bad things in there, so I guess meommy wanted to make the shelves kitty beds so they would stop doing bad things to the books things.
But, you see, there was still a shelf of those things, so meommy got the other box, the box that the thing Auntie got was in, and she then filled it up and put it away. One last little box took the last half dozen books and now... we have shelves to lay on!
Tho, meommy said something about "now it can go someplace else" - what does she mean by that? didn't she clear it for us to sleep on?
So, guys, what do you think she meant? has your meommy been busy like mine?

yes I just moved and we are having so much trouble, before the move and after, it is incredible.

My Mum said that she thinks your Mum is getting rid of it
My Mum always moves the furniture round, I never know where my nice round chair is from one Day to the next I get mad at her sometimes because it gets so annoying you know

oh, meommy NEVER gets rid of bookcases, but sometimes she puts them where I can't get at them!
I've heard her say something about moving that chest thing into the front room, don't know where she'd put it, but Auntie said it would fit on top of something - like what?
sometimes I just don't understand meommy, those hoomin beans, they's a strange thing...

Hey there Taj...Tigger here...
I'm sure your mom didn't mean the shelves for you to sleep on. My mom has none for us but we do get to sleep on the couch, chairs, bed, and wherever else we want to. I'm always calling for mom to come to bed after 9:30pm but she rarely listens to me and sometimes stays up all night talking to her friends in a little message box thingy on her computer.

no? but meommy doesn't have a couch for us to sleep on, she puts it in a room we can't get to! 
and all the chairs are hard, but that's okay, we also have hard counters and table to sleep on, but we do have her bed, when she is in it its nice, otherwise, those other cats are in it with no meommy making it not worth getting into most of the time

Uhmmm...I am not so sure it was for you...I am certain that you all have lovely comfortable beds to sleep in because you are all well-loved fur babies. My name is Hewy and my mummy is busy all the time...She doesn’t’ like me anywhere near her books things either...Gotta go, she’s coming!

SomhowI think those shelves will probably be taken down and removed to create more space. Not to be used for kitty cat enjoyment. Though I'm certain you'd rather lounge around on them instead of letting the talking books, or other things live up there. Sorry kitty its our world you're just living in it.
No, my cats haven't helped me. Hindered me is more like it. My right foot is in a splint, and I can't walk on it. So therefore I can't walk. A step down from how I am normally, but yeah... wheelchair bound more than usual at the moment. Cats want to sleep in my wheelchair. Normally this is fine, except when I have to get up and race to the bathroom or somewhere in the apartment real fast. I have to make sure no fuzzy assses aren't lying around in it.

My mom has been busy today but not much fun. First she started taking things off the dining room table, I think they're called dishes...she forgot to push her chair in today so I jumped up on the table and cleaned her plate for her! Instead of telling me what a good dog I am she just shot me a dirty look and went to get some more food!
Then she cleaned that little room she sits in all day staring at a picture that changes a lot and banging on a board that makes shapes on the picture. She complained about not getting any work done today but didn't forget to give me and Cookie biscuits! She put those things away that she wears on her body--that is so weird, covering up like that. She brought out Mr. Vacuum and shut me in a room so I wouldn't try to kill him. He's loud and I'm afraid he'll hurt her but she just laughs.
My house has been very busy today. Now we're all going to lay on the couch and watch a movie. I wish Mom would turn the cool air on but she says we have to save money. What's that, I wonder?

I thought your post was very entertaining. Cats would see it exactly the way you said. They wouldn't think anything was more important than something for them, and they probably think everything we do should impact them in some way.
