square box is easier to make than round box and it is also easy to carry.

Hmmm... you made me think. I think it is easier for the baker to put the pizza in a box than in a same shape container and for us to grab a slice of it without a mess. If a round pizza came in a round box and fit perfectly how would we get a slice out without struggling or making a total mess. We need the edges of empty space to be able to get at the pizza. Square boxes are easier to make, ship and store flat. Round boxes typically have to be pre-made and are more bulky to transport. How about that? Do i make sense?

I also had the same question. I was also wondering that cause pizzas are round and they come in square boxes. Cakes are also round, I mean most of them are round and they also come in square boxes. Maybe its more convenient to bring a square boxes rather than a round box cause squares have sides in them and it could protect the contents from possible damage.

I think it's for practical reasons. It's easier to make a square box. It is also easier to handle a square box. Stacking, storing, and all that will also be easier. There are square pizzas that come in square boxes! There are also a lot of things that are round (cakes, pies) that come in square boxes.
