Mature content filter?

I'm new to this forum community and I was wondering where do I go to change the mature content filter in my preferences. I looked around the website for answers and I couldn't find anything. Can someone please help me because I found a discussion I'm interested in commenting on but before I do that I must change the mature content preferences. Someone please help me as soon as possible. Thank you!
