Hello everybody I need some help. For a month now i have been using PotPieGirl's One Week Marketing Guide. But I have not been able find a niche to use. So what i am asking for is a niche with a few keyword for it for me to start my first campaign. I am one off those people who need to be spoon fed at first. So please if you can please help.

Read through Jennifer's own recommendations in the course and especially in her 'Conversation' document. Also go through her blog/website (where you can find, I believe, 30 suggestions for niches together with keywords). I don't believe that being fed niches is a good idea, however. How do you know that they are really 'hot' (and, if they are, why would anyone want to give them away!) For ideas on niches, I use all sorts of resources: MyLot discussions, articles I get to read in Readbud (it has it's uses, even if it turns out to be a scam in the end), things people say in shops, in the pub, at home, on the radio or TV ... the list is endless. It's all a matter of, on the one hand, being interested in what people say (and want) and knowing where to find that information quicker than they do and, on the other hand, being aware of HOW they are asking for the information (which is hardly ever well thought out!) The best place to start is always with something that you already know something about (even if it's just a little). It doesn't matter so much if your first site/niche is already well covered: possibly (and hopefully) you can come at it from a slightly different/better angle than all the others. Researching good keywords is always the scariest part but try to think the way that others - especially people who aren't that computer literate - would think and go for 'long tail' keywords ... phrases that people might type in if they were looking for something in the field that you are concentrating on. You know the tools to use because Jen has already told you some of the best.

I agree that you should not trust the advice of others when it comes to this, but instead go with your gut and choose a niche you like, are interested in, and believe in. This almost always gives you the best results. So what are your hobbies? What are you really into at the moment? I always figure if I like it, others might too, you know?
