signed up for a race..

That's right, I have my first race since the end of June. I haven't run since the first of July when I brought my son home to take care of. But I must have lost my mind because I signed up for a race this Saturday.. it's in my blood! I just figure I will do good if I can just cross the finish line I can't worry about my time!

how did the race go. Sorry I've been MIA since there haven't been running discussions I sort of disappeared off mylot. I always loose my earnings like this and then never get to cash out lol.

Well, I jogged the whole way. Which is actually better than I thought I might do. Of course my time was long! But hey, I hadn't run in over 2 months! I am back to running now though. I have an aid who comes in the mornings to help with my son. I either ride my bike or run every morning now except Sunday!

Good luck with your race. It will be good for you to do something you used to do. How is your son doing?

Yeah, I hope it will be good, even though I am nervous about not running in so long! I will have to walk-run it I am sure! But I gotta get back to doing some things that I enjoy so I figured I'd just sign up anyway! Hopefully next week I'll get an aid and then I will have a little freedom to be able to start running again! I am so looking forward to it! Thanks for asking about Chris. He is doing well. Still progressing just one tiny bit at a time!
