Promoting a site through "Secondlife", waste of time?

So someone actually mentioned this to me before. Basically "secondlife" is like a 3D online game where you can do a bunch of random things here and there. I was told I could make a 3D physical building and promote my business site through there. Think it would be a waste of time?

Second Life is a load of cobblers. It leaves out anyone who has a slow internet connection or a computer that isn't state of the art and up to the minute quick. Many people around the world have to cobble together whatever they can find to travel cyberspace, and some of what they travel with are really cleaver. Second Life belittles their efforts.

I don't know much about it so I can't agree or disagree with you Although, from what it sounds like I could see an "audience" to market to in that case, lol
