baby boy or baby girl

Hello eveyone here Ji,
We all might have advanced in walks of life, however, when it comes to birth of child, we always prey Almighty to make parent of a Baby Boy. WHy? But as per our mythology, whenever we are in problem, we always seek elp from anyone of the mother Goddess as below ;-

but in need of wealth

for success in education
people pray to ma saraswati
for removal of tension

now tell me, why do people hesitate to have a female in the family,
while those whom they pray to during trouble, are females?

First of all, I would congretulate you for hving reached to himalay's peak on your posting account. I also wish to know time taken. It is simply great feeling even for me, as We are friends and known each other. Then,
So nice of you for your immediate response. Today, I am going to open out my secret, how we got our daughter. Somehow right from first day, we were after the daughter and I had my regular fast of 'MA-SANTOSHI' so that we are blessed with our Maiden daughter, but it goes without saying that 'MAN PROPSES AND GOD DISPOSES'. After getting two Sons, we were blessed with our daughter, today
She is also motehr of her maiden daughter. A case came in Karnataka (India), when an Lady officer , a Govt Servant paid all last rights of her father, including Shaving of her head as a customery. In fact, our Land-laws do not permit anyone for pre-determination of un-born child. I always think that, daughters are proved better than Sons. But it is also true that woithout both, human beings won't march ahead. As per Hindu mythology, Girls are Symol of 'POWER' and tehy are worshipped much more than Male GODS. I am very happy with all responses.

As per Hindu mythology, Girls are Symol of 'POWER' and they are worshipped much more than Male GODS. I am very happy with lone daughter. It is a sper our reliogion, customs and traditions and added with land Laws, that one should always happily accepts, what God wants give us gift, 'DAUGHTER OR SON'. During Ulterasound, no Doctor sheould ever reveal, else he is likely to be jailed. I fail to understand, why to view? Why not enjoy with secrecy. We wanted Daughter from teh begining and got only after two sons, if we would have known earlier, who knows,what we would have achieved. You enjoy with grand daughter. et me tell you very frankly, ask yourself and compare yourself with your brothers in taking care of your mother. daughters wiould invariably tak emore care.

I do believe in equality between different sexes. Most important thing for a parent is that their offspring is healthy. Imagine if all babies are born a boy, there would not be tomorrow. Homosexual will become prominent and there will not be any future generations naturally. We shouldn't disgrace girls/female. Remember that our mother is a female no matter how manly one might be :p

In my home country a lady that is pregnant for the first time just wishes to have a healthy baby. She doesn't mind if she has a boy or a girl. Usually when pregnant for the second time she might secretly hope she is having the opposite gender. A girl is worth just as much as a boy. A child of either gender is lovely to have. In a traditional country most ladies wish to have a baby boy. It is sad when a lady has an abortion because she is pregnant with a girl.
I didn't mind the gender of my first baby and I had a baby boy. The second time I was pregnant I really wanted a girl and I got a disabled baby boy. I didn't dare hope when I was pregnant for the third time. I was so lucky to get a baby girl. I have always dreamed of having a daughter. If I had only been able to have one baby I would have been happy to have a baby girl. I wouldn't have minded if I hadn't been able to get a baby son.

I am almost eight months pregnant now 
Until the fifth month, my husband and I thought it would be a boy. Then when we had an ultrasound, we found out that it is a baby girl after all. Well, it made no difference really. We are happy and we are just praying for a healthy baby. We just laughed after the we found out that it was a girl because the little one inside me surely rolls, punches and kicks like a boy 
Baby boys and baby girls are blessings. It is up to us parents to care for them, mold them and guide them
