Anything else we could talked about with out disagreements.....

Philippines

Hello Lotters. Just wondering. In every single discussion that we had about the Philippines, there has always been a degree of disagreement.although i do value the views of every one else here and yes it is indeed part of democracy in our country. But i wonder, with bad news that has been happening to our country, Is there anything else we should talked about with out the point of having a disagreement. We got to have something in common that is Positive. something that encourages us to move forward even though we still mourn for sufferings what has wounded our country..and it's people. Any thing? thanks. Have a blessed day.

If it is about politics, I don't think so. But I can think of ONE topic that every Filipino will agree on. And that is Manny Paquiao is the greatest boxer today. And he can beat the sh*t out of Mayweather.

You know what we can talk about together without disagreements? Well, we can talk bad about mendoza's putrid carcass. On the other side though what we can talk about without disagreements is ourselves as humans, not as filipinos but as humans. plain and simple, pare.

I think one of the things we can talk about without having a disagreement is Manny Pacquiao: Philippines always seems so united whenever he has a fight, you know. If asked about who the best fighter is: the answer is PAcman..

Hello stanley, yeah, in most of the times. but i think they were some disagreements when it was about a talked regarding Manny running for politics. but we are all united about manny fighting into the ring. It's nice that he has now been active in public service.

I think I've already posted something without disagreement and that is all about Ms. MAJOR MAJOR that we should be MAJOR MAJOR proud of her. Other than that I've also posted a topic about CAKES which I can't disagree to other posters. Maybe we should talk about Filipino delicious delicacies.

I dont think we could ever discuss anything without having any negetive points or disagreements. myLotters come from different parts of the world and from differnt backgrounds and this will make a lot of difference in discussions. But finally we get to know the mindset of different people and what they think.

Hello edward, I guess the only thing that really has the similar thing also with us Filipinos is that we all tend to "disagree" on some certain issues.most specially if we all have different back grounds, history and others.

Life without disagreement can be boring. We can all agree to disagree. But I think there wont be disagreement with food especially adobo. I dont know anyone who doesnt like it unless of course you're vegetarian but in general it's something most Pinoys adore.

I don't really understand what is going on, but have seen some horrible things where people are attacking the Philippines, one of which was a facebook profile that I reported..I think it is terrible and unfortunate that people are treated this way. If you want to talk without disagreements, that also may be hard, even if you were to talk about your family or what your favorite holiday recipe is, you will always have someone who sees things differently. My advice is if it is getting to you, stay away from the two most controversial subjects: Religion and Politics..

Hello carmel, yeah, i'll do that even though i had stayed away form religion for a bit while. some are actually comparing this incident to 9/11, some explained that after this, some couldn't helped it getting mad at the muslims..or something like that. some how we didn't feel we deserve to be treated such. even our senator, who went to hongkong, using a regular passport was thrown back at him after the immigration officer found out he was Filipino. well, that's life. so sad indeed.

Letran I am an American from California .Do not forget the warmth, hospitality and friendliness from the ordinary filippinos that many of us Americans and other Nationalities appreciate a lot. You welcome us into your country as tourists and many of'us go back to our own homes truly impressed by the warmth and kindness of your people. The generosity of the ordinary Filipino is astounding to to me. I have a filippina table mate who is always sharing little things with me sugar free candy to yummy adobo chicken. she is truly amazing and we have all become such good friends with her too.

If everyone just agree in everything then that wouldn't be a discussion or should I say a conversation at all. Disagreement and agreement is a crucial part of any discussion/conversation. It balance everything, a negative and a positive. Disagreement is common everywhere so it's not only in the Philippines interest of mylot you will find this. I guess we can call the discussions you have come across in the Philippine interest victims of chance specially the discussions made after that dreadful hostage drama

Hello duser, well, i guess it can't really be avioded. most specially in this case. but i believe there was no disagreement in this topics about the hostage thing because every agreed that they made a mistake. the cops i mean.
