More and more people are now into the internet.. I myself have been hired on my 2 jobs, previous and recent over the internet! I know most are still looking for jobs by walking in buildings, and companies, or even looking at the newspaper job postings... but for you which of these are more effective based on your experience? Why do you think so?
1. Conventional way - leaving your resume in company HR's or reception.
2. Applying by responding to job ads over the newspaper.
3. Online - applying through online job sites like jobstreet, monster dot com, jobsdb
4. Wait for job fairs
For me, i find the 3rd one effective - you just got to wait a bit, but if your resume is interesting you will get that call...
Thank you all for sharing!!

I think, number 1 and 3. I tried leaving my resume and passing my resume through online. And it both work for me. But I prefer going to the company's for better result. Because they automatically give me the exam and interview and then wait for the result. And now i got my job.

Hello chiyosan,
I don't have a job yet. i still need to get my pay out to try to apply at least once a month. actually, i have done it all. the usual thing that i mostly do was #4, at least you would know which company really needs man power or applicants for job vacancy positions. as for your last statements, I've never been able to be called back after a whole day of interview.
