Don’t listen tot those who try to belittle your complaints. You get to decide what’s a mountain and what’s a molehill. No one can legislate what you’re allowed to be upset about. If your salad comes drenched with dressing after you ordered it dry, send it back even if your date tells you not to bother. How do you cope with these situations?

If I have to send back my salad, I will but I will be nice about it because making someone feel lousy will not make me feel good. Recently I got a horrid incident with my daughters school bus driver. he scolded me because I was late to pick her up. I know he has stepped out of his boundaries and i was terribly upset. Afterall i did not do it on purpose. But I think if I complained straight up he might want to seek revenge and my daughter might become the pawn so what my sister told me is to write down the time and date and at the end of the year place my complaint. It all depends on the situation, I guess. Sometimes you have to think through what your actions may bring about.

that's a clever decision of yours. The key to successful complaining is to highlight the problem right away, thereby giving the restaurant the opportunity to resolve the problem with minimum fuss.speaking of your incident, you should write to the operator first, giving as much detail as you can about that .

Sometimes, I would just complain about the things that seem to be unfair to me. But, there are also times when I just let it go as I don't want it to ruin the good mood that I could or would be having at that particular situation. I don't know exactly. I think its really better to get what you really deserve than to let it pass since, if it can happen to you, what more for other people and if that incident is quite unjust, just imagine how many other people would be unfairly treated. If one would speak up about just unjust things happening towards them, others might be disheartened to continue such unethical behavior while a lot of people would be adamant about what should really be given to them. In the long run, services would be much better for everyone concerned.
