Where are they coming from?

Those big red ants have been appearing in my house, ever since i change the big sewage pipes in both toilets! Before the change, there are no sighting of any such ants! These ants will only appear at night, only in the common toilet, as well as in the hall under the sofa! Initially, i thought they are looking fo food, being a trespasser. But i keep seeing them everyday and i knew they must be hiding somewhere, but i don't know!
Any idea, where i'm able to trace them back to their hideouts?? It's irritating to see them around!

hi sanitary,
really? and i thought we are the only one experiencing such in our house. those ants are also present in our house and i am seeing them too in the toilet. i thought its because of the house that we are living since its very old already and there's a big tree nearby. those ants are pestering me too, but just good that i am not seeing them now, i think they are seasonal. haha
but whenever my husband saw them, its either he will spray them with insecticides or burn them!

Yes, they are appearing in my house ever since we had some works done in the house. I don't know if their nest is being disturbed by the works and so they are in the house or they are new migrants. I have been killing many of them but they never stop coming back.

ah okay, but sometimes the more you disturbed them, the more they will come out! are those ants in your house black or red? coz here in my place sometimes hat i saw are red ones and some are big, sometimes i saw the black ones. i think they both have a territory in our house.
sometimes i just let them and sooner they gone. maybe they are just out for food.
