How to improve the qualities of sleeping?

I am currently suffering from the headache by the insomnia those days which has disturbed my regular life. It is seriouly boring me that i don't fall sleep when the normal time is coming,what circle caused that i get up too late to catch the schedule arrangement. befor i usally get up at 7:00 on the morning,but now is 12:00,evenly late. I have try a lot of ways to resolte the dusturbs of sleeping,like as below:drinking a little milk,count number of sheep,or ......but it is low effort to me to avoid insomnia.the brain is moving like daytime..... I really don't know what to do?mylotters,pls help me,i would be great gratification.

There are many ways of improving the quality of your sleep. Drinking of warm milk is one of them, while the next effective way, is taking a cold shower just before bed. We will be able to fall asleep more easily when our body temperature is low, so after the shower, it's the best optimum temperature. WHile the other way will be, clearing your mind of aby distracting things happening in the day. U need to relax, and not be stressing over things. When u are worrying before sleep, your brain will be working even harder when u are asleep. Do watch a little tv, or read, listen to music to help in relaxation. If not, aromatherapy will do too.

Dear, A proper sleep is necessary to maintain a good mental and physical health. Also healthy physique and refreshed mind will ensure quality sleep. That makes it a cyclic process. It's continuous, so when one is hampered you can't expect the other to remain undisturbed. What you have to do is to properly identify the reason that has disturbed your mental health or physical health. The insomnia may be due to either of them or both of them. Your everyday accomplishments play vital role in building your mental health. Little bit of exercise when done regularly keeps your physique fine. Physical exhaustion is essential for having a goodnight's sleep. If you are not tired enough, you'll find problem sleeping. Your sleep will be rather forced than spontaneous. There may be some problem, stress that is keeping you from enjoying your life in it's entirety. You should identify it at an early stage. Identify it, remove it. Don't worry so much on matters that YOU think of great importance. Distinguish between worrying and planning. Also understand that the former is useless while the latter is practical and fruitful. Don't take everything so seriously. Have fun. Have a life. You'll definitely have a good sleep. Thanks. God bless you

my friends,what you analysed sounds so reasonable and intensive and i think that the insomnia maybe cause by both physical and mental.for fommer,i am a homegirl,seriouly lack of exercise to outdoor.so i can't sleep well because of feet ache if i go shopping too much time to make myself tried. about latter,maybe i can't give up something what still follow to me even if i want to get rid of this unhappiness emotion. In short,very tks to you.good luck.

@Shinqiu You should exercise you know, but as you've mentioned something about a feet ache, I would suggest you consult a physician before attempting formal training. Exercise and going to shopping are not the same thing. Exercise makes sure that every part of your body is tuned uniformly. Walking, running doesn't ensure it. About mental health, read books that are peaceful. Don't watch violent movies. Stick to whatever is beautiful and peaceful. Mix up only with positive minded motivated people. In any case, don't overwork your brain. Make the best of your life.

@Jannat Why quarrel? That would be so gross, and it wont even add value to daily exercise. One shouldn't quarrel as it is a waste of time. IT is better if you fight. Have you ever tried to beat someone to jelly with bare hands? It's one hell of an exercise. It also frees up your mind and helps maintaining your mental health. Riots are even more effective. Participate in riots even if it doesn't concern you. Take part in brawl even if you don't know any of the parties involved. Just do it for the sake of exercise.

First get into a sleeping pattern. sleep at about the same time every night. Prepare yourself for sleep. Before 10 pm, drink a warm glass of milk. Wash up and get into your nightgown. Put on some soothing background music. Dim the lights and then rest on your bed in the most comfortable posture and position. Switch off the music momentarily. Say your prayers to God. Thank Him for the good things that he has bless you that day. Thank Him for protecting you from harm. Ask him to give you a good night sleep.Switch back the music on. Put on the timer to stop them usic after an hour of so. Close your eyes. Sleep. Goodnight.

First you used avoid caffeine. Make sure you don't have electronics in the bedroom like T.V or Computer. Find a way to relax in the evening like taking a warm bath or reading some magazines.

Hi there Shinyqiu, It's great to have found this topic since I have just recently research on natural ways to induce sleep. My father's girlfriend has diabetes and one side effects of it is getting hard to sleep. So I searched the net on natural ways. I have found out that lavender and jasmine scents helps in promoting deep sleep. You could buy some oil or soap with lavender or jasmine scent and use it before you sleep. Like having a massage with scented oil before sleeping. They said that jasmine has more potent effects than lavender. Try to search for it on the net. I hope that will help.

Really?It is my first time to give so novely treatment of insomnia. Thanks for your suggestion and i will go to super market to buy jasmine or lavender to try,tks!^^

What suggestion i provide is not thinking too much when you get to bed. If you have much ideas or thoughts on our mind, it will be difficult for you to fall asleep. Having a cup of milk will do some good for your improving sleep.

I also suffer from this and one method I always use is to tell myself that I should think about all the things that I am thinking when I wake up first thing in the morning. Another cause for those sleepless nights is to much caffeine. If you drink a lot of coffee, try to minimize it.

Sleep when you feel tired and sleepy already. I read also that drinking milk or eating banana can help you sleep. Remove any distractions too. Dim the lights and make yourself comfortable.

All what you have to do is to practise some methods before you want to go to sleep:First of all, get away from all distraction tools (TV,computer,DVD reader,Music player..) because they force your brain to keep actif.Second, you have to clear your head of all thoughs by relaxation (relax your musles and relief the stress).Third, avoid eating before sleeping because food may contain some contenants that private you from a confortable sleeping.& Last but not least,you can do some physical activities like runing or jogging, after this, you ought to take warm shower then go to bed . I hope that I've been as much informatif as it should be . Happy Myloting :)
