Handphones near and handphones far

I have heard that there is a lot of radiation from handphones, so if we keep it too near our body, it might affect our major organs. Since then, I have always tried to keep it far away from me, in the bag, in the drawer or in another room when I'm at home. There are many who like to hang their handphones around their neck or put it in their shirt pockets or clip it to their belts and I would think, aren't these people concerned about the radiation at all? Seeing that always makes me feel worried for the potential health threat they may encounter. So my friends, do you have handphones around you and are you concerned about the radiation you might get from it? Any remedies you have tried? Please share with me. Thanks!

Hi, bluemoonpavilion! Yes, I have heard the radiation but I haven't done anything to avoid it. There was too much radiation in various forms around us nowadays because we rely on wireless devices more and more. So this little bit from mobiles is not much. And, I can also train my adaptive faculty of radiation.

Have you read Jin Yong's novel "The Legend of The Condor Heroes (SheDiaoYingXiongZhuan), in the novel, Chen Xuanfeng and Mei Chaofeng always eat little white arsenic to make their body adaptive to poisons so that they can be more possible to survive if they poisoned. So if I receive some radiation from my mobile, my body will be accustomed to radiation so that I can be less harmed if I am over radiated.

How do you train your adaptive faculty of radiation? What does that mean? You mean you can train your body to block off radiation? I know that things like crystal and charcoal can absorb radiation emitted, I have one and the other at home and in the office. I'm not sure whether they work but better to play it safe.

ooh... i've heard of this radiation threat before...but i guess i ignored it.o_0 i still keep my phone close to me; in any of my pockets, most of the time. i don't know...maybe because the people around me weren't crazy about the harmful effects too. that's why i didn't care that much.

There were some reports on the harmful effects and since then I have taken note not to let it be too near me. I guess we cannot totally avoid it because there is radiation from everywhere, the TV, computer, microwave, maybe even the fridge.

These handphones or cellphones have become very essential in day-to-day life. Though everyone is aware of the effects of radiation, there seems no escape from using these gadgets.

We can't help using them but surely there are some ways to reduce their harmful effects?

i heard and did the same thing like you.since i am not 'attached' and 'glued' to my phones- i rarely use it by the way- it is okay for me to keep it away from me.i don't know about the actual fact and i did it not because of the radiation reason but i believe that if you cling to something much often you will get addicted to it and hard to let yourself go without it.

Hi CTH, So yours was for a different reason, and a very much valid one too. These days we are becoming over reliant on cell phones, so it's nice to "let go" of them once in a while to see whether we can cope. Good idea of yours!
