I prefer to buy the parts and then assemble them... The benefit of doing this is that you get the product for a lesser price.. as it will not have one brand name.. also each parts have their own warranty period which in case of buying a branded you get warranty on whole product and that too at most for 1 year.. so I prefer to buy an assembled PC.

I prefer to go for an Assembled one. Simple reason - it allows me to select what components i need. Generally the out of the box ones are costlier when it comes to upgrade and the warranty is just 11 months on the whole unit. But when I go for an assembled PC, I get different warranties for different accessories and that counts in the long run!

I prefer buying parts of the pc and then just assemble it. I think its a lot cheaper than buying a whole unit which most of the time contains parts that you don't want. So its better to customize your own pc. At least you are the one who is choosing the parts and you know you like what you're putting in it.

I would buy a PC piece by piece and then assemble it because you can make out most of your budget for it. You can choose what would you like to install and what features you want. You can even save in a custom-built PC that in a packed or pre-assembled unit. This is only when you have knowledge in assembling computer, but if you don't have skill in doing this, you may have ask for an assistance of an experienced technician or seek an advice so that you can have the correct and ideal PC for your budget.
