Who here is a fan of the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins? Have you read Mockingjay yet? If so, what did you think?
I really liked Mockingjay... not as much as the first two but I thought it was a good ending for the series. Anyone out there also read it?

I am a fan of the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins. So far, I have read only the first two books: The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, but I have ordered an ebook for the last installment: Mockingjay. At first, I thought the first book will be boring because of the title, but when I read it, I proved myself wrong. It's really nice and addictive, if I may say so. I couldn't wait to get to the next book and the last one. It has an interesting plot and twist of events. I can't wait to start reading Mockingjay! I know it's going to be good, too. By the way, do you know that The Hunger Games will be a motion picture soon? ^__^ I just hope that they will give justice to the novel. :)

I loved Mockingjay, so I hope that you enjoy it too!
So far all we've heard about the film is that the rights to make it have been optioned. That means that a studio bought the rights to make a film, but they haven't got a script or been officially green-lighted. Most options actually just expire and the film doesn't get made. It takes a lot of fan support for a book adaptation to actually get made. I have no doubt that The Hunger Games will eventually be made, but I'm not sure that it will be soon. I also hope that if there is an adaptation then it'll be a good one.
