Okay all, you are always so helpful so I thought I would see if you all can give me some guidance. For associated content, can you put copy some of your articles from either your blog or from articles on Helium and put then on there? Or does this violate rules of the website? or violate rules of being ethical? Or do you just have to start writing from scratch. I am a little overwhelmed with where to begin on that website.

...Hi there aurorastorm, Hope you are doing well. On Associated Content you just check the box as others have mentioned that you have publushed the article elsewhere. They do not have any restrictions on content that way. For Helium I think I would print out a copy of their rules as they are a bit more complicated. But I do understand that there are those earning quite a bit on Helium, you do have to get stars to earn more as you go. Good luck to you with your writing. Take care.

Thank you, I am doing as well as can be expected, still trying to get a handle on what sites I can earn some good money on. I really do like Helium the best so far, but you are right it takes a while to get your stars. I signed up on Associated Content but have not submitted anything yet, but have feedback from others that you can do well on there, so I wanted to try it out.

I would think that, provided the rights to the article are yours, there is no issue. If you're concerned you could always amend some of the wording to avoid exact duplication. I've had people copy & paste my articles on the same sight and claim it as theirs. The worst that happened was that their topic was removed, unless it were perpetual: so I can't really see you getting flak for using your own on multiple sites.

That makes a lot of sense memnon, thanks for the response. I just thought that sometimes we are doubling our effort by writing from scratch on every different website we go on.

I checked this writing site out one time and noticed that disclaimer that yes as MisterApropos says you have to let them know if it is already published on another site. The only thing you have to make sure is that on your other sites if it stipulates you cannot publish anywhere else. I do know that on any site you can retract your articles as you do have exclusive rights for them. So if you think an article is not getting its justice on another site this may be the route to go. Good Luck

Thanks hardworkinggurl, I am going to just maybe start fresh on there. It might just be a little easier, was just trying to not have to double my effort.

Yes, you can copy your articles from other sites, but you have check the circle "yes" on "have you published this somewhere else?" But if you gave Helium Exclusive rights to your content then you can't. Have a great day aurostorm!

Okay can I ask you one more question. How would you know on Helium if you gave your rights or not? I am not sure if I did. I think maybe I should start fresh.
