Which is a better DSLR?

Brand doesn't matter its your personal choice whether you like canon or nikon. Both are equally superb. If you are a beginner in photography then you should consider these two options Canon 1000d/Rebel XS. nikon d3000 Both are equally good with a 1 or 2 advantages with both. Canon has live view feature while nikon lacks it here. it depends what you prefer. both DSLR's cost around 500$. but if you are considering to buy a middle level camera and have a good budged then I would sugges nikon D-90 as it has been a leading class with nikon in middle level cameras. it would cost you around 800$. Both nikon and canon are equally good. it would be better if you go to the shop and have the feel of both of them and then decide which one feels the best in your hands.

If you are a newbie to DSLR, try the Canon EOS Rebel XS or the Nikon D3000. Choosing the brand depends on the buyer. Both these brands are equally good. Demo both the cameras and choose the one you feel more comfortable holding. Canon has always been my choice. If you are already into DSLR, you should be knowing which brand to go for.
