how can i improve my english skills?

I'm a graduate student from TJU. Everyday, I need to read a lot of english literatures. Good english skills are the key points for doing my research. But my english is general. Please give me some advise.Thank you very much!

Hello there. What's TJU stands for? Hmmm... honestly i joined here to practice and enhance my english. As what my mentor told me it would be useless if you know all the rules and proper usage if you don't apply it on your day to day living, like talking to someone in english and if you think or compose something on your head it should be in englsih also. I hope this little tips will help you improve. By the way if found a site that will help you, would you mind sharing it to me?
