i usually write about generalized topics that everyone can relate to, but sometimes i want to get rid of some ill feelings, so i catharically write in a journal so no one would get offended unless they invaded my privacy and read it. then i would be very embarrassed, especially when my feelings change after i got it off my chest.whew, how do you write like this?

There have been many times when I have posted on here or wrote about somewhere else as in Journal, etc. things that might be bothering me at the time. Sometimes I find this helps alleviate the situation some to where I can move thru it easier. Many times it could just be something that if you write about, especially somewhere like here you can get others feedback and realize most of the time that the situation was not so bad afterall.

Yes, I do. I feel like the bad feelings will fester inside of me if I don't get them out. And, writing just helps me focus more. Plus, since the thoughts are only for myself, I can rant as much as I want on paper.

Hello, Samafayla. I write about all sorts of things, and I do find it cathartic to see my feelings rationalised on paper. I don't keep a journal, so my therapeutic writing comes out as articles or poems. If I don't want to give too much personal stuff away, I can write the article so that I don't.
Some of my best earning articles are personal experience ones, that I've written to rationalise the situation, or to get it out of my system.

Hi,
I certainly write about those things. Sarcasm or criticism is supposed to offend someone. You really can't help it. What I do is that I try to mix it with little bit of humor before serving it. This way the sarcasm is often disguised in an apparently innocuous gesture. I often relate my personal grievances so I can't avoid revealing little bit of my personal information. But then being personal with your readers is always good. It adds a certain sense of intimacy that is appreciated by most of the readers. Thanks.
God bless you

I keep a journal, I make an entry before plunging into sleep. It's a good way for me to get those nasty thoughts of my chest, write down my feelings, or just having a rant.
