SPF 30 is just about right for everyday use. But I feel that these days we should be extra careful. I usually use SPF 50 for my face and arms on normal days and the products should be sweat-proof. BUt when at the beach, I make sure I use SPF 70. It won't prevent you from getting a little dark, but that's the consequence of staying under the sun. Make sure you also follow product directions for use, like putting the sunblock on 20 minutes before sun exposure. It's good if the product is waterproof or it doesn't easily get rubbed off.

Thank you for your tips! I learned a lot. I am just so concerned since these days tends to be very hot especially here in the tropics. Don't want to leave the house without any protection from the sun rays. :)
