It's September 1. In the Philippines, this marks the start of the Christmas season. This morning, Christmas in our Hearts woke me up. It seems to remind me to smile because the season has come. Merry Christmas, fellow Filipinos!

Hi! Merry Christmas! hehehe! Yeah it's the start of the Ber months meaning the Christmas is just few months away! hehehe. Time flies so fast, it's as if I just celebrated it yesterday but then again, it's Christmas season once more! WOW! Let's always remember the reason of this upcoming season - Jesus Christ!

You're right. Most people seem to have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas. I hope this season would not only bring joy to everyone, but also hope for a better future in God's loving arms. It's Christ's birthday we are celebrating... so waiting for almost 4 months isn't exaggerated. =)

Anyway, I am happy to hear that Christmas season has started in the Philippines. Merry Christmas too..

Filipinos love festive seasons, and even the anticipation of Christmas is being celebrated as early as we could. September is the first "-ber" month, so we are already reminded that December is coming. =)

Yes... Christmas season again... the start of the BER months augers a time which lends excitement to the hearts of people especially the children. Then after All Souls' Day more Christmas decors will be popping up. You will be able the hear the start of christmas songs in stores and supermarkets. The adults will be thinking of gifts to their nephews and nieces and all assortments of inaanaks (godchildren). Thinking of gifts to friends will again be some sort of problems to some. But whatever the situation in life, people will still be smiling and greeting the coming of Christ with a new hope in their hearts.

Don't you just love Christmas? I do! I even love it more than my birthday because it's not only me who's celebrating but the whole world. It's gonna be Jesus Christ's birthday. That's the most important thing to reflect on. God bless Filipinos! God bless everyone!

Hey, I noticed you're from San Pablo. I'm from there, too. I grew up in Quezon, though, but my Dad's roots are entirely from San Pablo. It's in my surname... Brion. =D

Hi LetranKnight25! Cheer up! I agree with kyel_11. Perhaps God is still designing the best job for you. Just hold on to God. It might not be proper to share this... but when I had the best job so far, I came to the point when I just want to shut my door against the busy corporate world. Not that I'm telling you that not having a job is a good thing. But you can use your situation to do those stuff that people with jobs can only wish for. Be happy, and stay happy.

Merry Christmas to you, too, Kabayan! Indeed, September is the beginning of the countdown to Christmas in the Philippines. Of course, we don't set up decorations just yet but verbal Christmas greetings can already be exchanged and songs are being played in radio stations. It's good that being a Christian country, we are being reminded to prepare well enough to celebrate the birthday of our Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

Christmas is coming again although I don't have money to spend for the gifts of my godchildren. I think it is too early to decorate and I can't feel the spirit of Christmas now because of sad and we have many problems.

Hearing Christmas songs on several establishments makes me smile. People are getting excited. I pray that we will all find and experience the true meaning of Christmas.

I dont know...Even by Filipino standards I think it is too early to say Merry Christmas. There will be "Araw ng mga Patay" first or All Souls' Day. In my experience, it will be by first or second week of November when some businesses and home starts to hang decors and christmas songs play on the radio.

Hahaha! For me, it's not really that Filipinos celebrate Christmas too early. We just take joy in anticipating for the coming of the season. If hearing Christmas carols early could paint a smile on street children, on the children of OFWs expecting their parents to come home for Christmas, on the old people who can't wait to be visited by their family... let's cheer with them.

Ho..ho..ho..Merry Christmas! Too early for others but here in our country when the 'ber' month starts, it's also the start of the countdown for Christmas. Im not that excited but i still hope everything will change for me before Christmas.. Not only are there a lot of Christmas decors being sold in the stores but a lot of Christmas songs are already heard in the malls and neighbors houses. I heard some people are already buying gifts this early for Christmas.. Hope we all have a very merry Christmas this year!

I saw the ambiance of Christmas on the telly from TayTay Rizal and thought how silly the whole concept of the season has become. Did you get a gift for me already? I have yours ;) Eric Countdown to Christmas 2020 is how many days????

I'm so excited that christmas is fast approaching. I can feel it in the air. Aside from the fact that it's Jesus's birthday, this coming christmas season is very special for me because of my baby's first birthday and my hubby's homecoming. I can't wait to celebrate it with the most important people in my life.
