Never if I can help it. I don't like open flames. Or any kind of flames, really. Power failure? That's what flashlights and lots of extra batteries are for. Not in a relationship, so don't need it for romance. And, any man I was with would have to know that I wouldn't find fire romantic anyway.

I really like scented candles. The Yankee Candle large jars ("housewarmers") are really good because they really fill the room with scent. Plus they have such a big range of interesting and lovely fragrances. It's a shame they discontinued my absolute favourite. It was called "Winterland" and it was this really subtle, snowy mint scent.
