Hello lotters,
Actually, i should have said this months ago but i got busy with other topics in this
site. they were a lot of users back then who were asking among two hundred thousand
users NOW, how many are actually active?
Well, thanks to our Beloved Admin Alice who is active when ever there is something
new. we could determine at least once a month how many users are active every single day.
So, Basically, among 200,000 registered users here. only mere numbers of 100 to almost
400 to 500 users are only active in mylot in one day. i think the rest of 195,000 are neither:
"not active" or "registered then left"
Now recently because of Gopher Topic, the range of those who responded to the
notification alert rose almost to 400 users. most are newbies.

You maje your calculation based on the responses that her discussion received?
Many started their own discussion after they saw the Alert but did not bother responding on hers so that's only an indication.
I feel that there are many more than you suggest.
I would love it if that number only represented active users though. it would be so much more realistic. Maybe there could be two numbers - one for all time members and one for actively online like on many other sites?

well, the latest was actually 478 when alice discussed about this new version of mylot. i got curious but unfortunately i didn't have the thought of making it as a discussion.
you know am a bit sa
d that my OS is not compatible with the cashgopher. any other online site you can recommend. guess, it's back to old fashioned posting.

hi letran I think you jus about have it right, and I had to la ugh
at a new user who was thinking if he could get referrals from say'one hundred thousand of the registered mylotters he would make x dollars in a weekk and a month and so on, and I replied I doubt if we really have that many who are active here, and even if you had all those referrals that would not guarantee they would be active either as some just up and quit in a short time.In other words do not count your chickens before the eggs hatch. A lot of people are so busy off line that they may not be on here all that often but cash gopher caught their Attention, my son said do 
not fall for that,its a scam. so I am not downloading it as I do okay anyway,.

Hello Hatley,
well, some are really disappointed in this software. so, there's no use for me to download it since am reading negative feed back on it. well, that user has a very wild imagination. actually, i did thought of it too, it's just that i wanted a hundred active referrals, that would have been something.

Im sure there's a ranking somewhere in the world wide web that registers the most amount of members a site has online at a given time. I just dont know what and so I cant search myLot rankings.LOL Well, that way of checking by the responses is a good estimate of how the site really fares in terms of online members. Though you did give some categories for the "absentees". You said "i think the rest of 195,000 are neither: "not active" or "registered then left"." I didnt respond to GoAskAlice's discussion on Cash Gopher so that would make me be one of the 195, 000. However, I am active, and I did register but I did not leave.^_^
Im aware of the discussion but I chose not to participate in it because when I checked it out, there were a lot of responses already. I didnt have anything to ask that couldnt be answered by any one of those posts. So I just chose to read rather than ask the same question that was posted many times already.^_^
With that, you can be sure that there's at least 101 or 401 active users in myLot a day here. The excess of one, of course, would be me.

It's very surprising,isn't it. i wonder how many users were active when mylot was still as it's infancy then.well, i can't imagine mylot paying still if members are as active as the number of mylot population.

That’s interesting...I wonder how accurate those figures are…It makes sense how you obtained them. I didn’t respond to Alice’s discussion and I’m sure there are many others who haven’t as well! I don’t know…It doesn’t seem a high enough number for it to be correct...

well, i didn't say exactly, but it was just an small estimate since the admin update always send through almost every one in this site. yes, it's true, it ain't high enough. makes me think that there are thousands only users every day despite of almost more thana million users in facebook.but it ain't that bad.
