Do you believe in "Hang till Death" Sentence

Some people say, criminals who kill people(i.e murder), for what so ever reason, should be given the sentence, "Hang till Death". It may be a good punishment to generate a fear in the society, that murdering someone will lead us to death sentence, so people will think a hundred times before killing anyone. But the other view is, as a human one should concentrate on killing crime and not people by way of death sentence. Should this sentence be banned throughout the world, or should be continued.
