Restaurant Problems?

I happened to be reading different articles and decided to share this with my friends on mylot. I used to live in Missouri and we are infamous for Fried Catfish. This new catfish restaurant just opened, so my husband and children and I decided to go give it a try. We walked in the door and a person seated us and said our waitress would be with us momentarially. We looked over the menu and immediately decided of course we would have the catfish dinner. They had all you could eat for a set price with the hushpuppied, slaw and fries. But I can never eat the price of a meal so I took the two piece fish. We got the kids the children menu. The waitress took our drink order then come back with would we like an appetizer. We got the fried dill pickles. She brought those and a bowl of hushpuppies to us and then started bringing the rest of our dinner She got all the plates set in front of us, and politely asked is there anything else I can get you? We said no thank you. It was not one minute she walked back over and said how is everything? We reply ok thank you... A minute later just as I am READY to take my first bite...here she comes HOW is the fish? By this time I think my husband was ready to put me on a choker chain because I could not even eat a french fry. This waitress comes back the fourth time...I had taken one bite, before she could say anything, I stated...Yes the food is good, yes you are getting a tip, and could you PLEASE send the manager over. Here comes the manager rushing over...and I politely told him... He needed to find something for his waitress to clean because she would not let us eat our meal! You should have seen the look on his face. Needless to say we never saw the girl again while we ate our dinner and the manager took care of us all the way to checking out. I still think about that meal and chuckle Bless them I knew they were new but man did they have them trained to stay on top of you LOL I have a way to be precise but comical so no one got angry but I sure had the manager surprised I am sure. have you ever been annoyed with a restaurant experience? would love to hear yours!
