If you went to college, how old were you when you went?

I was wondering this, because I haven't gone to college, and I'm almost twenty-one. I was hoping to go after I graduated high school, but I didn't get to. That was over three years ago, and I'm afraid it's too late for me to go back.

I actually took another course in education last year. I was 26, I got two classmates, ages 35 and 38 who is getting the same course. We are being proud that even at that age we pursue to study for the course that we love There are still a lot of people who still studying college older than us. It's not too late for the ones who have dreams.

I just started college this year and I am 21. Don't worry about your age when deciding what you want for your future. People change careers a lot in their life and a lot of people go back to college a lot later than you are. Think about it this way, what have you done in your three years out of high school? And what will you do for another 3 years if you don't go to college? I took 3 years off of high school so I can figure out what it is I want to do with my life. Some people need a few years to do that, while others will know exactly what they want to do when they are in high school. Don't think that you wasted too many years figuring out, how else would you decide?

Hello Bd200789... I am 19 years old now and I was here since last year, when I 18. I finish my high school when I was 17. Taking industrial electronics in one of local college in my country. For your information, here i have a friend who is 28 years old and just proceeding her study here. In my college we cannot married until we graduate. So, she sacrifice her life with her boyfriend just because she want to study. SO you don not have to worry much about your age, because for me 21 is still young and my mom always say that study is never end no matter how old are you..So? Do not hesitate to proceed your study. You will not regret it.. Happy Mylotting!!!!!!!

I was in my mid 20's when I went back to college. The advantage of doing it later was I was older and more mature. I wanted to study.

It is never too late to go to college. Take it from me. I got married at age 22, raised 2 kids, then went to college at the age of 40. I graduated in 3 1/2 years with highest honors and a bachelors degree. It was the best thing I ever did in my life. Professors love non-traditional students, mainly because they are there to learn...not just to party. I had a professor who came out of the classroom after finals and thanked me for being in her class. Personally, I don't think anyone shoudl go to college right after they finish high school. They really don't know what they want out of life, and I think they need some life experience before trying to decide. Go to college.

I am still in college, but I started going to college at the age of 18. I had a lot of bumps in the road, but I am still getting there.

When I went to college I was 18. But when I went to orientation, I saw people that were in their twenties. In my opinion I don't think it is ever too late to go back to school. I knew some people that went to school until they were 28 and are now millionaires. A degree will making getting a good paying job ten times easier. I wish you luck on attending college. If you want to save money you can go to a community college for a couple of years and then transfer. Have a great day! Oh, and I forgot to say that my aunt is 38 and just started college last year.
