Then WHO?? It was according to Stephen Hawking that God did not Create the Universe. People should know that all creatures and everything on earth could not be happen without GOD. Simply because I believe that WE have GOD..and there is GOD!!

Stephen Hawking just wanted publicity I think since before. I personally believe that everything in universe is created by God himself. Theories such as the Big Bang Theory or that of Charles Darwin's Evolution are purely guesses.

No, they are not purely guesses, and by stating that they are you show that you are clueless when it comes to science. Please, before you reject things like the big bang and evolution, actually do some research. Try your hardest to understand what they are saying. Scientists do not just dream up ideas that seem plausible and stick 'theory' at the end of it. No, a scientific theory is very different from that. For something like evolution and the big bang to make it to the theory status, they must make testable predictions, which are then tested over and over again. It has to be verified through extensive observation, and is supported by many strands of evidence, not just a single foundation (unlike religion, which requires only an old book.) They should not assert certainty, and rather should be open to allowing changes when new facts are discovered. They should also pass the Occam's razor test. Guessing only works in religion, not science.

Hi jupitercrashing. I was actually smiling when I read your comment. Nicely said but do have mercy on the clueless. Although I wouldn't go so far as to say that guessing happens in religion. Not the religion but perhaps the followers.

No, god did not create the universe because god does not exist. Here's something for you to think about: If god is the creator of the universe, who created god? Your answer will probably be: God created himself, or, god has just always been there. This is how we should approach the universe: The universe created itself, or, the universe has just always been there (constantly recycling itself). There is absolutely no need to apply a middleman (god) to the creation of the universe, and doing so is a flat out rejection of everything that scientific study and human intelligence has shown us.

There's always been a big debate between creationist and scientist as far as how people, animals and everything began. It can be very confusing because according to scientist our earth is like 40 billion years old (am I correct?). Then the chronology of the Bible from beginning to end is like 5 to 10 thousand years. Scientist claim the surface of the earth was covered with single celled organisms at first. If that's true then what about God creating the heavens and the earth in 6 days would be the question. So it leaves me wondering what is true and what is not true. I do know that if allot more people followed God's commandments and the teachings of Jesus Christ the world would be such a better place.

The earth is around 4.5 billion years old. The universe is estimated to be around 13.7 billion years old. I hope you eventually realize that this should not be confusing - it is very clear that the scientific data is correct, and old books full of mythology are not. As for the commandments and teachings making the world a better place, well, history - and the current state of the world - has taught us this is entirely not true. Christians have abused, enslaved, insulted, oppressed, and killed people in the name of god for centuries, on the basis of a theologically defensible reading of the bible. If we were to follow any religion's laws, Jainism beats out Christianity quite easily - Jain patriarch Mahavira said, "Do not injure, abuse, oppress, enslave, insult, torment, torture, or kill any creature or living being." The world would be much better off if people followed that over commandments and teachings that are largely open to interpretation.

If there is no God then are they trying to say that the Bible is wrong? Cause there are so my explanation about God in the bible being the creator of everything. If they are going to insist on saying things like that, then I dont think I would ever believe anything at all.

That's right. You shouldn't believe everything you see. In fact, you should believe only half what you see and not take hundreds of years of brainwashing for truth. Suppose you were Moslem, would you believe Allah created the world, especially since it's not written in Quran? Would you believe the word of Christian then?

God only created the Universe. Genesis chapter 1 tells about the ccreation of Universe. Many scientist and archeologist proved there is a life before Nova's period. I believe that the God I worship is the true God.

I'm against the theory that God created the world. But I don't deny the existence of gods or goddesses or just little spirits living in the blossom of flowers. One reason why I'm against God is quite simple if you think about it. We don't know who wrote Bible. Every book is a fiction, even a nonfictional book is fiction, at least by some degree. For all we know, Bible started out as a huge joke. Second reason, if Adam was created and Eve from Adam's what's that bone, why are they depicted in paintings as having belly buttons? Belly buttons indicate they are born not made. Besides, I like to think of Bible as more of a religious epos, than a pure truth. (The Bible says women are men's property. Obviously the author was a male.)
